Because of the nature of Speciality Wood Products, with all the different specifications and options, we need to have some basic information before we are able to quote prices.

The more information you can supply us, the better we are going to be able to help you. We may or may not have experience with your particular application. We will ask several questions to try and determine exactly what will or will not work for you. Some of the more common questions will be

1. Does the wood need to be dry or green?

2. Does the diameter refer to the tip or butt or is it an average?

3. Is there a range with the diameter or are there tight specifications?

4. Is appearance a factor, rough or smooth?

5. Is there any remanufacture work that needs to be done?

6. Do you want us to treat the wood, if so, do you have a preference of the type of preservative?

7. When do you need the wood?

8. Do you want us to deliver the wood and where?

Generally the more flexibility we have as far as diameter, condition of wood, and the time frame we are working in, the better the price.
